How aware are you of your fertility?
I have been telling myself for years that I am healthy and have nothing to worry about when it comes to having a healthy pregnancy. A few months ago I needed corrective surgery and am happy to have confirmation that my body and health is in perfect condition, all thanks to God. I haven’t decided if I want to share details yet but maybe someday I will. I only need a miracle to happen first 😉
In a previous article, https://www.purelyelegant.co.za/manage-aunt-flo-and-have-a-happy-period/, I mentioned what I do to ensure that I manage my period very well but I’ve realised that there is still so much more to learn about our amazing bodies. Thankfully we are living in an era where we have access to great information.
I still have so many more questions:
What are the differences between the phases of my cycle and how does this affect me on a daily basis?
What are the signs to look out for to ensure that I’m in my fertile window?
How do I know when I’m actually ovulating?
How can I prepare my body to carry a baby to full-term and to avoid possible complications?
How does my diet affect my fertility and what should I eat to boost it?
How do I know if my hormones are in balance and how can I fix it if I need to?
I am learning a lot from Megan Pellizzari, who is a Natural Fertility Educator, Hormone Health Practitioner, Health Coach and Sonographer.
